Bethany's passion lies in the arts, particularly jewelry making, and she actively participates in local art events such as the Santa Fe Springs Art Fest and The Día de los Muertos festival in Whittier. Her creativity shines through her handmade jewelry, which she enjoys making and selling. Seeing others wear her creations fills me with pride

I was introduced to knitting several years ago by one of my staff members who introduced me to knitting, teaching me how to use a board loom, which ignited my passion for the craft. I also turned to YouTube tutorials to expand my skillset. When I knit, I always begin by selecting colors, often choosing the recipient’s favorite shade. Knitting brings me a deep sense of relaxation and joy, filling me with a great sense of accomplishment when I complete a project. In the future, I hope to learn how to knit hats and blankets while also improving my understanding of patterns.

I don't have a specific artist that I consider my favorite, but I'm always open to learning more about them. When it comes to creating art, my favorite medium to use is colored pencils. I enjoy using them because they are great for both drawing and coloring. Also, something you should know about me is that I really enjoy making jewelry in my spare time.

I love coming to art classes on Tuesdays, but I don't really know any specific artists. When I participate in creating projects, my go-to medium is acrylic paint. I sometimes need a bit of help with developing my ideas, but once I have it, it turns out to be quite unique. Something you should know about me is that I have a very distinct personality that is very inviting, and I’m proud of who I am.

I really enjoy looking at paintings and artwork, but I don't have a favorite artist. I always put in my best effort when working on art projects, and I do quite well. When given different medium options, I prefer to use markers. Sometimes I need a bit of guidance, but I'm always able to express what I want to create. I’m happy to create a masterpiece and cooperate with the group.

At ArtSource, I like drawing and want to get better at it. I also enjoy blowing off steam and playing pool at the rec center. I like playing racquetball and basketball too. At home, I watch football because I’m a sports fan. I also enjoy doing crossword puzzles and word searches to keep my mind sharp.
